  16.      _m_k_f_s constructs a filesystem by writing on the special file given as one
  17.      of the command line arguments.  The filesystem constructed is either an
  18.      EFS filesystem or an XFS filesystem depending on the arguments given.
  19.      _m_k_f_s constructs EFS filesystems by executing _m_k_f_s__e_f_s(1M); XFS
  20.      filesystems are constructed by executing _m_k_f_s__x_f_s(1M).

  22.      The filesystem type chosen can be forced with the ----tttt option (also spelled
  23.      ----FFFF).  If one of those options is not given, _m_k_f_s determines which
  24.      filesystem type to construct by examining its arguments.  If _m_k_f_s _s_p_e_c_i_a_l
  25.      is given, then the choice is EFS unless the special device is an XLV
  26.      volume with a log subvolume.
